I will be at the Preston Arts Center in Louisville on Saturday, September 4, drawing quick-sketch portraits from life.  At that time, I'll be selling my pencil portraits for $40 and my charcoal drawings for $60.  Each portrait will take approximately one hour to complete and, at the end of that sitting, the customer will have a finished product that can be framed and kept or given as a gift to someone special. 

Kaviar Forge & Gallery will be having a spring invitational show of nude work from 12 local fine artists.  I'm thrilled to be among those who were chosen to participate.  Each artist will be submitting five of their best pieces for consideration.  Blair Manning, the gallery manager, and Craig Kaviar, the gallery owner, will choose several pieces from each artist, depending upon the amount of gallery space available, to include in the show. 

I've been in many art shows but this is my first nude-only exhibition.  I plan to submit two charcoals, two pastels, and one oil painting.  As I learn more about the show, I will be posting information on this website.  I hope to see you all there.
